In my youth and later through all my life I have been not only an ardent admirer, but an enthusiastic observer of sculpture and paintÂing, and I am sure that this education has helped me very much to develop my plastic sense and to cast my body almost instinctively according to the style, the period, and the meaning of my song.
Just as you must be mentally or intellectually, you must be plastically, impregnated by your song; then your creation will appear instinctive instead of studied. Your art will become your nature because your nature is art.
